CAN CREATIVITY BE TAUGHT?
Yes! Creative learning is up to 80% an acquired skill (source: INSEAD).
The Theory of Generativity, tens of thousands of workshop participants, and the Fast Company ‘Most Innovative’ list, proves that it is a skill that is learned, practiced and developed.
We offer science-based practice-proven creativity training programs for business in Asia, because the new economy demands more innovative leadership to help you navigate the present and find the future.
This is especially important in Asia where many education systems have not exposed people to critical thinking skills, divergent thinking, and problem solving skills.
DO YOU OFFER SOFT SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR FORTUNE 500S IN ASIA?
Yes! As the most in-demand international training course providers for creativity & innovation training to Fortune 500s in Asia Pacific, our clients consider us to be the top leadership training professionals with a deep-dive expertise in these “must have” soft skills for the future.
Because — as far as corporate training workshops goes –it’s all we do.
(Of course we offer world-class facilitation of ideation sessions, and innovation keynote motivational speaking too.)
We’re also very happy to work with energetic start-ups and other progressive SMEs.
IS HOTHEADS INNOVATION TRAINING SUITABLE FOR MY COMPANY?
Maybe. We’re not for everyone — we best suit those progressive companies that want to see real behaviour change and make an explosive impact.
We don’t really suit companies who are just ticking the box to say ‘yes, we’ve done creativity and innovation training,’ or running corporate training courses that nobody really cares about. Nobody wins from that.
Our programs must be a key part of your learning and development strategy.
So please look around our site and get a feel for whether we should explore the common ground together, then contact us only if it feels right for you and your company culture.
WHAT MAKES HOTHEADS DIFFERENT?
Three main things set us apart:
1. All our programs are
personally designed and developed by Chief Hothead, Stu Lloyd. He is a deep-dive expert in the neuroscience of creativity with degrees and qualifications in psychology and neuroscience from Macquarie University and Copenhagen Business School. On top of that he brings 30 years of in-practice corporate experience at the intersection of business and creativity around Asia Pacific into the classroom with him.
2. Research cycles. Unlike other training companies who run a set program on an annual cycle,
we refresh content and material as soon as something which is research and practice proven comes along. For example, a couple of years ago, some new research on challenging skills was published, and Stu was able to build it into his program (for executives from Siemens, etc) the very next day. So they were probably the first executives in the world to be trained in that problem solving process. Speed is king today!
3. Lean and mean.
We understand your budget constraints and run a skinny operation where you only pay for the resources you need and no wasteful overhead costs. So don’t expect hordes of junior assistants to help in handing out workbooks, for example. We’re here to get a serious job done for you. And we allocate the resources to where they really count: engaging your team in an explosive and impactful program.
NEURO-HACKING SOUNDS SCARY. IS IT SAFE AND LEGAL?
Yes, of course. Relax! It’s simply the unfair advantage that your own neuro-biology can give you, yet only the most progressive individuals and companies are so far harnessing its full power and potential. I come from a psychology background, and my dual passions here are the neuro-science of creativity, and the physiology of peak performance (how diet, exercise, and physical behaviours enable explosive creative thinking).
My initial degree was a double major in Psychology and Mass Communications from Macquarie University. (I am actively involved in its Alumni Association.)
I gained a further certification from Copenhagen Business School in Neuroscience and Neuro-marketing in 2019.
Currently I’m pursuing further neuroscience-science programs through the University of Chicago and National Research University of Russia.
The point of all of this is to turn this cutting-edge knowledge and research (from reliable sources such as McKinsey and Harvard) into practical and powerful science-based programs for you and your teams.
So, if you want to unleash your potential with the unfair advantage that is achieving up to 400% increases in creativity mindset, toolset and skillset performance, Hotheads is the only place you can get it. Market leaders work with market leaders, right?
I HAVEN'T HEARD OF CORPORATE IMPROV TRAINING. WHAT'S THAT?
'Improv' is short for 'improvisational' which means improvisation training for business helps people to think on the spot better ... whether it's passing your boss in the corridor, facing a tricky sales prospect, or fielding tough questions at a conference or media session.
If you think about it, a great majority of executive communication situations are unstructured - you simply can't rehearse for them.
So improv trainer, Stu Lloyd, gives you the tools to do - with confidence, clarity and a compelling response every time (and there's a hell of a lot of fun along the way, too, as we rewire your brain!)
