My top 5 creative thinking role models.

From busker to billionaire - Guy Laliberte.

Here are the top 5 people I admire for their different and inspiring creative thought processes. This is not really in any order other than Leonardo being #1 whichever way I look at it.:

Leonardo da Vinci (the ultimate trans-disciplinary thinker)

Elon Musk (Leonardo da Vinci of the 21st century, bringing his sci-fi fantasies to life.)

Nikolai Tesla (amazing brain and theatrical presenter, shit businessman)

Steve Jobs (for his zoomed out eco-system complexity thinking)

Guy Laliberte (Cirque du Soleil founder who inspirationally mashed imagination and business, and went from being an accordion-playing busker to an entrepreneur worth $1.5 billion.)

I nearly substituted Einstein for Steve Jobs - that was a tough choice. In fact, I still might do that.

I think what they all have in common is that they all have elements which cause us to dream and aspire beyond what’s possible, and all re-imagined and re-invented the field/s they’re in.

Your turn:

Who are the BIG 5 in your life? (C'mon - how do you expect to think bigger and braver if you don't have your advisory panel on tap!)

How can you emulate their approach to help you break the glass cage of your current thinking, or see your industry from a different direction that could change the game?
